Project tracking code

Each project in WEMASY has a unique tracking code. This tracking code is the base integration that powers all WEMASY tools on your website, including analytics and insights, the popup builder, and other tools that may be added in the future.

What the tracking code does

The WEMASY tracking code is a snippet you can embed on any website. Once installed, it enables all WEMASY tools to work on that website. Without the tracking code, tools like analytics and the popup builder cannot function.

You can use the tracking code on any existing website, even if it is not built with WEMASY. This means you can take advantage of WEMASY tools on websites hosted anywhere.

Note: If your website is built with WEMASY, the tracking code is installed automatically. You do not need to add it manually.

Where to find your tracking code

1. Click the configuration icon next to the project switcher in the top navigation bar.
2. Make sure you are on the General tab.
3. Scroll down to the tracking code section.

You will see your tracking code displayed in the section. It is a snippet of code that you can copy.

How to use the tracking code

1. Copy the tracking code from your project settings.
2. Paste the code into the HTML of your website, typically in the head section.
3. Save and publish your website.

Once the code is in place, all enabled WEMASY tools will start working on that website.

Tip: If you remove the tracking code from a website, all WEMASY tools will stop working on that website.
